We helped Arup show that transforming and reusing existing buildings can deliver greater environmental, commercial and social returns than demolishing and reconstructing them.

We provided copywriting services for Arup’s Transform & Reuse brochure, which platforms some of the most innovative refurbished buildings in the built environment. Projects include abandoned grain silos transformed into a popular cultural hub, derelict industrial yards turned into a vibrant shopping district and Victorian gasholder frames converted into contemporary homes.

As we collectively face a climate emergency, we urgently need to find new ways to design and construct cities, prioritising the reuse and regeneration of existing buildings.
